Sponsorship Programmes.
Sponsor a Peer Leader.
Just £5 a month will allow a peer leader to attend a registered secondary school and sit national exams. You can pay monthly by Direct Debit or alternatively in a one off payment. Sponsor a project and recieve your very own letter(mostly hand written) of thanks from your sponsored school or peer leader.
For your support you will receive:
Edusport Peer leaders plan and implement their own programs with help from EduSport co-ordinators. Since most of the youths are poor, peer coaches receive EduSport stipends that cover school fees in appreciation for the work they do in peer coaching. With your sponsorship the peer coaches receive training on how to be good role models, counsellors, sport coaches and facilitators to prepare them for their work.
Sponsor a Teacher/Co-Ordinator.
To ensure reliable income, and provide further training to young people and EduSport Peer Leaders we are looking to support more zone co-ordinators to ensure EduSport activities run in more communities, increasing the number of young people involved in educational activities. Alternatively support a teacher. We have 2 teachers on our pending list both work voluntarily at the Chawama Sport and Educational Empowerment School which was started by a grant from Friend of EduSPort early in 2007. These teachers have families to support and we want to ensure they can continue to provide an education to vulnerable and orphaned children.
In return for your support we will send you a profile and picture of the volunteer you are supoprting. You can also expect regular updates on their work in their communities.
Support our schools.
Help a school afford a flushing toilet, paper, pens, books, educational aids, chairs, desks, chalk, lighting. You can make a cheque or standing order donation or on-line donation or if you attend a school then you can link your school to one in Zambia
